Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By using brrengineering.net (the “Site”) or purchasing services from BRR Engineering (operated by Rohde Consulting LLC), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. Services

BRR Engineering provides custom 3D printing, mechanical CAD design, and engineering consulting services. Specific deliverables and timelines are agreed in each order or consultation.

3. Orders & payment

• Prices listed on the Site are in U.S. dollars and may change without notice.
• An order is accepted only when payment has been authorized by Square.
• We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, including for pricing errors, inventory issues, suspected fraud, or designs we cannot reasonably produce.
• Bulk-pricing tiers are calculated based on the quantity of each item in your cart.

4. Custom prints & quotes

Quote requests are non-binding until both parties confirm a written quote and you authorize payment. By submitting a 3D file, you represent that you have the legal right to have the design produced and that production will not infringe any third-party intellectual property. We reserve the right to decline jobs that appear to violate this condition.

5. Shipping & risk of loss

Physical orders ship via USPS or UPS through Pirate Ship. Estimated lead times are provided in the listing or quote and may vary. Risk of loss transfers to you upon handoff to the carrier.

6. Returns & refunds

• Custom and made-to-order parts:non-returnable unless the part is materially defective or differs significantly from the agreed specification.
• Stock parts: may be returned within 14 days of delivery in unused, original condition for a refund of the item price (shipping is non-refundable).
• Defective items: contact us within 7 days of delivery and we will replace, reprint, or refund at our discretion.

7. Intellectual property

• Designs you upload remain your property. We use them only to quote and produce your order.
• Designs and content we produce (photos, listings, branded materials, original designs sold on the Site) remain the property of BRR Engineering and may not be reproduced without permission.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Site or our services to: violate any law; infringe intellectual property rights; produce items that are illegal in the United States; submit malware or attempt to disrupt the Site; or harass any person.

9. Disclaimers

The Site and our services are provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, BRR Engineering disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. 3D-printed parts have inherent limitations (layer adhesion, dimensional tolerance, anisotropic strength) and are not certified for safety-critical, medical, or aerospace applications unless explicitly agreed in writing.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BRR Engineering's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific order in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Cache County, Utah.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance.
