Who we are

BRR Engineering (operated by Rohde Consulting LLC) is based in Providence, Utah and provides 3D printing, CAD design, and engineering consultation services through brrengineering.net.

What we collect

• Order & checkout information: name, email, phone, shipping address, and items purchased.
• Payment information: handled directly by Square. We never see or store your card number, CVV, or full payment details.
• Quote requests: the 3D file you upload, plus your name, email, phone, material/color preferences, and any notes you provide.
• Cart data: stored in your browser's local storage. We do not transmit it until you check out.
• Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and operations.

How we use it

• Process and fulfill your order or quote request.
• Email you receipts and order updates.
• Respond to your inquiries.
• Detect and prevent fraud or abuse.
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your information to third parties.

Service providers we use

• Square — payment processing, order management, and receipts.
• Cloudflare — DNS, content delivery, and DDoS protection.
• Resend — transactional email delivery (quote notifications and replies).
• Pirate Ship — shipping labels and tracking for physical orders.

Each provider has its own privacy practices, governed by their own policies.

3D files you upload

Files submitted through the quote request form are stored on our server and used only for quoting and (if you place an order) producing your part. We do not share, redistribute, sell, or use your designs for any other purpose. We retain quote files for up to 12 months unless you request earlier deletion.

Cookies & tracking

We use only essential storage (your shopping cart in browser local storage) and standard server-side analytics from Cloudflare. We do not run third-party advertising trackers or sell tracking data.

Your rights

You can request a copy of the data we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing [email protected]. We will respond within a reasonable period (typically within 30 days).

Children

Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be posted on this page.
